Life has been a whirlwind of poetry and essays and van Eyck and Rauschenberg. I've been playing with my camera in spare moments, learning its settings and buttons, pointing it at the small things that brighten my day.
When things get so chaotic, it's difficult to set aside the hours necessary for a more calculated photoshoot. The ideas are still floating around my head, and I hope to act on some of them soon. But first, pancakes....
I came into possession of the chocolate chips out of luck, discovering them in a friend's kitchen before hearing that she didn't want them. And when life gives you chocolate chips, you dump them into a bowl and make pancakes.
